Several beautifully constructed model ships created from these kits are today proudly displayed in the main house.  The factory finally closed down in the 1950s, and when they took over and restored the property, Amadeu and Caterina took advantage of the fine solid stone building with its three-foot thick walls to create a superb restaurant and area for functions, ‘La Sala’.
